Based on previous study

this article discussed factors and patterns that influence the base-level and accommodation.It concluded that both Absolute and relative accommodation changes exist and that the sediment supply isn't a factor influencing the change of base-level.It also studied the vertical superimposing patterns and lateral variations of short term base-level cycles and advanced the approach of predicting favorable reservoirs according to change of paleotopography based on the analysis of base-level cycles.
