At high water-cut stage of development

it is necessary to build high precision reservoir geologic mo-dels by giving full play to the high lateral sampling density of seismic data and the high vertical sampling density of well data.In this paper

a new approach is proposed to build such a model constrained by results of highly accurate geophysical reservoir predictions.Case study shows that the seismic-constrained reservoir modeling approach can bring the advantage of geostatistics(i.e.

multidiscipline integration) into full play

effectively integrate sesmic

well log

and geologic data

and reduce the uncertainty of reservoir geologic models.The approach is proved to be effective in improving the precision of geologic models and have great application potentials.
