Several hydrocarbon migration-accumulation systems could be divided within the basin such as Mosowan-Shixi migration-accumulation system containing gas pools of middle-lower abundance; Shihezi-Hutubi migration-accumulation system in which important hydrocarbon discovery might be found; Dixi-Fukang system in which Saogonghe Formation Gasfield was discovered and northeast Fukang region may be another favourable area; Xiaoguai-Chepaizi and Mahe systems which are less favourable for gas accumulation.
