Abstract:

The main part of China’s CO2 resources—mantle magmatogenic CO2 is concentrated in the Meso-Cenozoic stretching basins in Eastern China. The basic conditions for the formation of this kind of CO2 pools or gas-fields are the faults cut deep in CO2 gas source and mantle magmatic activities. The CO2 gas pools could be divided into mantle magmatogenic origin and thermolysis origin. All the CO2 gas pools and fields discovered are almost fault complex type.
