    Current cross section balancing technique is not suitable for the paleostructure reconstruction of most of extensive basins since they underwent 3-D deformation.The reconstruction of the 3-D deformed paleostructures should be considered as the superimposition of 2-D deformation.The faults in the 3-D deformed basins could be divided into isolated faults and fault complex,and they should be treated separately in reconstruction.As an example,the 3-D paleostructure of the boundary between Middle Eogene and Cretaceous in Tangyuan Depression is reconstructed and described in this paper.

    Based on the fundamental principle of sequence stratigraphy,the storm wave base or offlap break of initial highstand delta system could be regarded as the reference for the"shelf break"in passive margin. Accoring to well log and seismic sections of sequence boundaries in cores,seven supersequences and 47 sequences are identified,and high resolution sequence stratigraphic framework is built in Cretaceous of Songliao Basin.The periods for the supersequences and sequences are about 11.29 Ma and 1.28 Ma respectively. To compare the curves of rise and fall of both the base level and sea level in Songliao Basin,their secondary cyclic variation tendencies are the same,but the frequency of third cyclic variation of the former is higher.This is caused mainly by the factors of local tectonics and complicated climate.

    The second and third submembers in the third member of Shahejie Formation(Es32+3) in Gaoshangpu Oilfields are lakeshore sedimentary system of fan delta facies.The fan delta facies consists of three subfacies,and delta front subfacies is the main body.Nearshore subaqueous channel sandbodies developed well and these are most potential oil bearing places,distal sheet sands are secondary.It has been proved that sedimental facies and belts bear fine correlation with oil bearing potential.According to this point,fault blooks within the study area were estimated and predicted,the results suggest that thirty of them are favourable hydrocarbon bearing belts and twenty eight of them are secondary favourable belts.

    The deep Es32+3 submembers consist of a set of coarse detritus fan deltaic deposits which come from NE direction and are characterized by near provenance,short transportation and rapid accumulation.Among 8 lithofacies types,the positive rhythmic sand gravel facies,positive rhythmic gravel bearing sandstone facies and massive sandstone facies are favourable reservoir rocks;within 6 facies assemblages,type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ developed in distributary channel subfacies are favourable for oil and gas accumulation.

    The motion of underground water in hydrocarbon bearing strata of Turpan Hami Basin could be divided into sedimentary seeping water stage and seeping water stage.Favourable areas for oil and fas accumulation are:1.NW directional Kokyar Qiudong and Sinjinkou zones;2.near EW directional south side zone;3.near EW directional north side zone and the local areas of the east and west sides of the basin.The numerical simulation of profile 2-D finite element reveals that fault zones play an important role in the basins oil and gas migration;simulated regions of underground water discharge coincide with that of present oil fields.

    The sedimentary facies,physical parameters of a reservoir as well as its fluid distribution characters and variation regularities could be described qualitatively and quantitatively in three dimensional space through compiling a software system in working station with the help of geological informations;the sedimentary facies model of the reservoir could be established based on the analysis of regional geology,and the data of drilling and grain size;reservoir parameter model could be built through calculating reservoir parameters such as the coefficient of diagenesis,porosity,permeability and heiterogeneity.Then the mathematical model of the reservoir could be built based on its special parameters and the phase states of oil or gas pools could be distinguished.These models could provide accurate parameters for reservoir numerical simulation and for hydrocarbon exploration planning.

    Log analysis software system,which can be used as a package of software in log analysis,is an important part of reservoir description software system.This system has selected some typic single well interpretation programs and developed a multi well evaluation system that includes key well study,the interpretation of models and charts,multi well parameter determination,effective thickness study as well as various kinds of calculation modules.This system could combine the data of geology with that of log and well test,process reservoir rock property analysis,establish log interpretation models and charts,accurately describe reservior heterogeneity,provide reliable parameters of reservoir quality and volume for reserve estimation.This system was used in the reservoir description of Kuihuadao structure and was proved to be effective.

    Naobaoshan braided sandbodies are situated in Shangyi County,Hebei Province The permeability of the sandbodies are analysed by combining actual measurement in a large scale with sedimentology Samples of some lines are chosen Conditional simulation method and fractal geometry method are used separately in the modelling of the permeability of the sandbodies Conditional simulation model is built based on the variogram of the permeability;fractal model is built according to Hurst index that is calculated based on permeability and interpolation theory The results suggest that conditional model could recur the heterogeneity of the reservoir,the fractal model could reveal both the macroscopic physical property and microscopic heterogeneity These two methods are efficient in heterogeneity researches,and could be in compensation for each other

    According to the study made on the paleoecology of Ostracoda,sporo pollen and algal fossils collected from the fan delta of the third member of the Shahejie Formation in Gaoshangpu Oilfields,it is considered that the fan delta developed in littoral shallow lake environment The main elements of Ostracoda are Candona,Huabeinia and Candoniella with shallow water Candona as the the predominant one The content of the sporo pollen is usually higher than that of algae;the main elements of the algae are Granodiscus,Leiosphaeridia or Parabohaidina and Conicoidium All of the fossils reflect fresh to brackish water in littoral to shallow lake environment

    The anastomosed deltaic deposits at the bottom of the Pliocene in Youshashan,Chaidam Basin are controlled mainly by the macro axis of a lake basin.The contents of sandstone and conglomerate is about 30%.The lower maturity of composition and texture of the sandstone and conglomerate reflect quick deposition and near provenance.The vertical sequences of irregularly alternate normal and reversal cycles are related to intermittent expanding and shrinking of the lake water level.The anastomosed deltaic plain subfacies developed well,consisting of braided channel sandbodies,interchannel proluvials,dams and splays.Deltaic front subfacies is not big,river mouth bars are small,deltaic front sheet sands distribute widely.According to the above mentioned characters,four sedimentary models such as low water,the early stage and the mid late stage of flood and flush sedimentary models could be established.

    Underground water solution is the medium of deep oil gas information.The occurrence of pressure difference and temperature difference is the dynamics for the transission of deep seated information.The analyses made in hydrocarbon geochemics and water content show that remote sensing information of the alteration halo of oil gas microseepage could be considered as the comprehensive reflector of both organic and inorganic components.It is common that water content in alteration halo is considerably higher than background value.Structures of oil and gas passages are mainly closed extensional structures which appear to be light colour zones with low water content in remote sensing images;oil gas bearing structures sealed by compressional or transpressional structures and clay beds appeared to be dark zones with high content of water in the images.It is suggested that to extract oil gas information,one should choose suitable humidity and also consider mteorologic factor.
