Abstract:

There is a great deal of transitional facies developed between continents and seas during Eogene in China.Due to tectonic and geographic controls, these facies distributed from marine to continent in order of seashore facies, transgressed lacustrine facies and inflowed lacustrine facies, showing a semivircular belt of NE trend in eastern China and NW trend in western China.
