Abstract:

Compacting off flow efficiency and compacting off hydrocarbon efficiency from source rocks are important for appraisal of oil and gas resources A simulating experiment has been carried out by means of high-pressure and temperature-controlled compacter designed by the authors based on geological settings of source rocks and adjacent reservoir rocks of the Lower Tertiary Funing Formation in Qintong depression,Jiangsu province The results of the experiment show that the compacting off flow efficiency for the second menber of the Funing Formation is 6—7%,for the fourth menber is 10—13%,while the compacting off hydrocarbon efficiency of both members are between 13—18%.
