Abstract:
Hierarchy analysis in reservoir researches is a new methodology including hierarchy characterization and hierarchy modelling. The method made good use of stratigraphy,se-dimentology,event geology and structural geology as theoritical grounds, outcrop, recentsediment survey, flume experiment, seismic stratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy, log in-terpretation,formation test as means, and modern geomathematics, computor modelling as tools to do hierarchy analysis. The analysis process inreservoirs can be done by deter-mination,description,interpretation,modelling and combination of hierarchy.
