Abstract:

The basic pore types, the origin, the characteristics of micropore structure both in 2-dimension and 3-dimension space, the modality of the pore texture in the conglomerate reservoir formation of Karamay Oilfield were studied in this paper. The main parameters describing the pore structures were determined by statistics. Then the data from different oil districts, facies zones and formations were studied and twelve classifying programmes were obtained with different statistical cluster methods(cap analysis, dynamic cluster and system cluster). The pore structures could be divided into three kinds through optimiza-tion,which were characterized by different facies z騨es,formations and macro-types.The variation regularitvies of Parameters and curves(both capillary pressure curve and J-function curve)differ from each other.Obvious boundaries existed in correlation dia-grams.All of them satisfied the principle of the classification that are the most reason-able,applicable and classifiable,Finally, the standard of classification was set up.
