摘要:

安徽省宣城下石炭统王胡村组粉砂岩中,发现了遗迹化石 Rhizocorallium(根珊瑚迹)的一个新种:R. wanghucunensis Xia,Zhong Fang et.(sp. nov),形成于潮坪环境。表明水平型 Rhizocorallium 不只在深水低能的潮下带环境中出现,也可能形成于远滨砂(砾)坝之后的潮坪环境。

Abstract:

A new species of trace fossils Rhizocorallium wanghucunensis Xia,Zhong,Fang et(sp.nov)was discovered in the Wanghucun Formation of Lower Carboniferous in Xu-ancheng,Anhui Province.The fossils are distributed in siltstone and formed in tidal flat environment,suggesting that horizontal Rhizocorallium does not only indicate the deep water-low energy environment,it can also appear in tidal flat environment.
