Abstract:

West Wen 13 gas pool is situated in the west side of Wendong structural zone in Dongpu Depression. It's main gas bearing horizon is the middle submember of Sha 3 member of Eogene;the main reservoirs are the fourth, eighth and tenth sublayers of the fifth sand group. The reservoir porosity and permeability decrease from higher part to lower part of the structures, and the variation coefficient of permeability is within 0.7~2.0. According to the analysis results of gas reserves of each fault block and sublayer, better results could be obtained in gas recovery so long as some oil wells in east simple structural block be turned into gas producing wells;the high position in the south of west simple structural block is favourable for remaining gas exploration;wells with short-term and high productivity may be found in Wen 13-92,Wen13-293 Blocks, but Wen13-122 Block is not suitable for exploration at present time.
